Teacher Tip Tuesday!

🎉 Teacher Tip Tuesday!

One of my favorite (and most unexpected) places to gather tools for specialized instruction? Home Depot.

Two of my go-to free materials:
🟦 Paint cards
🪵 Paint sticks

These simple items can be powerful tools in creating structured, engaging systems for learners—especially those who benefit from visual supports. From traveling visual schedules to task box manipulatives and even crafts, the possibilities are endless.

Creative solutions don’t have to be expensive—they just need to be intentional.

Do you use paint cards or paint sticks in your instruction? What other free or everyday materials have helped you support learning in the classroom, at home, or in the community?
